Javi Guerra, named best player in Group III of Segunda Federación 22-23 season by the Spanish Footballers' Association
Valencia CF midfielder Javi Guerra has been named the best player of the Segunda Federación 22-23 season Group III by the Spanish Footballers' Association (AFE). The Gilet-born midfielder received this award for his stellar performance for VCF Mestalla last season.

Javi Guerra was one of the standouts of the 22-23 season with VCF Mestalla, having a great season with which he managed to vie for promotion to Primera RFEF. In addition, the young Valencia CF player was one of the players who helped out the first team in the last part of the season.

It is worth mentioning that he started LaLiga EA Sports 23-24 with a great performance: he is the second top scorer of Valencia CF 23-24 (3 goals), as well as having 1 assist. Thus, he established himself in Valencia CF's first team as a permanent fixture at only 20 years old. This fact is highlighted by the fact that he was chosen as the Best Under-23 Player of LaLiga EA Sports for the month of September.
This great performance by the young Valencia midfielder has not only been recognised by LaLiga and the AFE, but also by the Spanish national team. Guerra made his debut last September with the Spanish Under-21 national team and also competed in the matches in October.

This array of awards for Javi Guerra highlights the work of Valencia CF and its VCF Academy in the training of ELITE players, not only on a footballing level but also on a personal level.
A VCF Academy that has cemented its palace among the best academies in Europe. For the fifth consecutive year, the VCF Academy is included in the top 10 of the best Academies on the continent.

Moreover, in the latest October report of the CIES Football Observatory, the Valencia CF Academy has achieved the 4th position, which is the best position of the VCF Academy in quantitative terms since the CIES registry exists. The figure of players competing in the Big 5 is also the highest since these records have existed.
